🔝Best 100 stocks
Best of list of 100 top stocks (as of May 2026).
Introduction
This time around I only analyzed the best of the best. I used the most filters I have used so far to only analyze the very best stocks in the US market. Top notch only. Thousands of stocks looked at from every angle.
Lookback: I already created twenty-five similar versions of this kind of list calculating which stocks have, based on fundamental data, potentially higher odds of outperforming the market in the next 3-6 months.
Now at the end of May I have created a new list (see below), ranking many stocks, which I haven’t analyzed before. There are also several foreign stocks in this list.
The ranking was created with available data from the partial Q1 2026 earnings season. The creation of this ranking has again been mostly based on fundamental factors like quality and value and is only partially technical analysis (momentum) based.
This is a “best of” list, because I picked the top 10 stocks regarding to many different factors, here are some example:
best 10 quality stocks overall
best 10 growth stocks overall
best 10 value stocks overall
best 10 stocks ranking the highest in each of their sub-factors
relative best 10 stocks in each of their industry
And then I ended up with a list of the top 100 best of all US listed stocks. The stocks were selected as ranking the highest among roughly 6400 stocks.
Ranking methodology
Thanks to my very deep analysis of all Dow Jones stocks I was able to improve my calculation method a lot. 2/3 of my calculation method is new based on what I learned from my Dow Jones analysis. I only kept in my calculation what worked in correctly identifying the best and the worst stocks inside the Dow. Therefore the calculation method is a new strongly improved version. What stayed the same is that I’m using several different artificial intelligence models in the calculation of the overall score. The calculation has a slight value tilt.

Benchmark
As a benchmark I analyzed three popular top stocks:
Old ranking methodology with older data from May 22:
NVIDIA (NVDA): 74.0
Alphabet (GOOGL): 65.8
Microsoft (MSFT): 69.0
New improved ranking methodology with data from May 29:
NVIDIA (NVDA): 72.9
Alphabet (GOOGL): 64.0
Microsoft (MSFT): 62.3
NVIDIA continues to rank first place out of these three stocks, both in my old and also my new ranking methodologies benchmark. As said before fundamental data has by far the strongest weight in all calculations. The momentum factor and technical analysis only plays a minor role in the ranking of the stocks.
One of the improvements of my calculation method is that it has gotten much harder to outrank one of the best stocks in the market, I’m talking about Nvidia. Based on the following ranking one can see that only one stock - Harmony Biosciences - has theoretically slightly higher odds to outperform the market in the next 3-6 months than NVIDIA, Microsoft or Alphabet.
All stocks in this list have a score higher than 50, which theoretically means that all stocks are fundamentally somewhat attractive. Meta Platforms is ranking number 26 in this list. Lower in the ranking you will also find Alphabet and Microsoft (both are highlighted in a similar way as Nvidia, which ranks second if included in the ranking).
Now here is my top 100 list based on data from the end of May 2026:
